Oh there are plenty of busted up Hondas,Kawasakis and Yamaha's coming through my Dealer that have been crashed. Most of these failures are due to crashing though. How do you warranty something thats been dumped, is that possible or just stupid. Honestly I guess there have been more Suzukis with this problem but if the damage derives from a crash, its irrelevant.

The wheelie thing occurs something like this, Rider slams down the front end around a hundred times and bottoms out the damp rod and begins to crack the frame slowly through time. Then when he pulls in his driveway at 20mph that small crack has turned into an inch long fracture and eventually breaks.

The truth of the matter is this, its cast. Casting is no where near the strength of extuded aluminum. Casting its not going to hold up against the riggers of a unexperienced rider that slams the front end down time and time again or crash's. Since the inception of Cast Frames you shouldn't expect the bike to sustain a crash like they used to.

Oh duh. Basic metallurgy. Casting vs extruding or forging. (Hits self up side of head).

You wanna do wheelies you should be on a dirt bike anyhow.

Or just set it down softly that's all. Although I believe it begins with the experience of the rider. If the rider has enough experience he knows how to set it down properly.

Don't hit yourself upside the head, some people don't realise what you give up when your trying to stuff a 170bhp in a 375lb bike. Your going to have to give something up, that something is strength. Its a racebike camoflouged with turn signals and mirrors. Most people have no clue specially when your talking newer sportbike riders.
