I have for sale a 75 Ossa Super Pioneer 250. I had a complete engine overhaul in Summer of 2007. I just had a fresh piston installed in Fall of 2007. Other new parts include a new Minuki carb, full "turbo" throttle assembly with cable, new clutch cable, front brake cable, hand grips, and clutch and brake handles. I only run premium gas and high quality racing synthetic oil. I was told to run high quality lubrication because in the older engines, they tend to make noise if regular gas and oil are used. I had a horsepower estimate of 30-35 with the rebuild. It runs excellent, starts everytime, and does not smoke excessively. It has enough power to lift the front end up in third gear. It has extremely high compression that is uncommon in 2-strokes. I have a lot more information on the bike if anyone is interested. I also have pictures that I can e-mail. Neat bike, I always liked the Stilleto. Spanish dirt bikes have the same panache as a Ducati or Moto Guzzi...that certain indefinable something that the Japanese have never gotten down except with the first Elsinores and works TM's

A buddy of mine had a 70's works Elsinore and that 250 absolutely screamed. It would run off and leave my 81 CR480... Powerband hit like a freight train, truely impressive. Scary but impressive.

I like the Stilletos as well. I couldn't find one though. I came across mine for a steal. I paid $300 for it, the engine barely ran, but the piston, rings, carb and crank were shot.

Believe me, it screames. I've had it full bore before, and it will only hit about 60 or so, but its got the power to get you up to speed in a flash. It also seems like it will not run out of RPM's. It just keeps going and going.
