Nighthawk. Without question. Bulletproof engine. Built and improved since the late 70's. Reliable as a stone. Bike competent to do any reasonable job from medium canyon carving to 2-up long distance touring.

Neither bike is a styling success. I'd get the Nighthawk without hesitation.

One more thing.

Up here in Vermont.. the riding season is slowly coming to an end. I hope that I can complete the transaction and hit the road before the ice and cold get to me.

Nighthawk is what it'll be.

The Nighthawk was in production until recently so parts should be available for a long time to come. The Seca has been out of production for quite a while and parts will be getting problematic soon if not already.
