I have a 2002 Honda cbr600f4i that hasn't been touched in awhile I just bought a new battery and put that in and my headlights work but the bike wont turn on and neither will the dash so I think it's a blown main fuse or bad ignition switch connection and i think i found the main fuse and im not exactly sure what its supposed to look like but something just looks wrong I dont really know much about bikes I just have 2 years of car mechanics ive done so im not really sure what to do how to test it what im suppose to test and where to go from here if anyone could help

IF.....you really have been working on cars for two years and don't know how to
test a fuse to see if it's blown or not........something is drastically wrong here.
I think you need some "on site" help.

Well.....that might be because the internal battery goes dead after a time.
That is required for the ohms function to work.
It also could be because you used an ohms scale to measure a "hot" circuit
and blew the internal fuse.
