I dig the look of the Highland bike.

Chances of us ever seeing it in the states? probably none.

I'd also take the cool looking Husky if anyone felt like giving it to me.

Nice coverage of lotsa tasteee stuff....and some uuggghs! DFO
The Husky has a REAL shot at being made. The 610sm sells for $7k and change. The goal is $8k and change if it gets pushed forward. So far, the Husky fans and some Ducati guys (that frequent the place I work) love the thing and Cagiva is saying that it's possible to build and sell at a profit.
Is it just me or do you guys skip the bikes that you know you will never see stateside? I mean just loggin onto MO every day is enough of a tease since I can only afford one bike at present.

On another note, is the Buell in the pics all tricked out? or is that how all the new TTs look? Somehow the one in the pics looks 'cleaner' than the previous pics.

Will we see the smaller engine Griso over here? (You are the one that works in the Atlanta Duc/Guzzi(Piaggio brands)/Triumph shop, right?)
Excellent article Yossef. Beautiful bikes..Thanks.
Scorpa 660. I think that'll do just fine.
Not the fastest report from EICMA - the European moto websites had theirs up weeks ago - but the most informative and intelligent reporting of them all, and the best and clearest photos by far. Well done, Yossef, another winner.
Interesting stuff. Too bad we'll get 457 new varieties of cruisers before we see just about any of these zesty entries. But who am I to scoff? The know nothings really need another version of the VistaBlaster Roadmeister 1900 in Hydrargyrum Liquid Silver with the Non Liquet Windscreen.

Been keepin' an eye on that tasty Morini - thank you, BIKE Mag!. New issue of CW sez no, it ain't coming to Murrica. Yoseff sez it is maybe in '08 or '09. Good. I'm still kicking myself for not buying one of those cool flathead (heron head??) Morini's back in the dim, dark, cold of the Carter years. Now where did I leave than can 'o Billy? And I wonder if that old "Brooksgate" Khaki poplin suit still fits? And I could see if I still have my "John Dean" special owl glasses. I'll just get the mighty Betamax out and put in one of Annette Haven's best and we'll finally have the good times a-rollin' again. HELLO 20% interest rates!!

Ohhh...the meds are kicking in.

Back to reality: Great article. Excellent use of facts/data.

Halliburton! Rove! Cheney! Shotguns!

Wish there was a better shot of the new two tone GT1000 Duck but at least it's in the background shot of the new red 1000s...
Based on history, no we will not get the 850 Griso or any of the other really cool smaller displacement bikes here in the US. Nor do we get any of the really cool small compact and subcompact cars here in the US. You can thank the average American motorcycle and car buyer for this and their simple minded attitude that more displacement is always better.
Thanks. It's been getting so silly with this race that many sites were simply copy/pasting the press releases. Where's the insight? Digesting something as big as this show requires some time me thinks.

I was told that the 850 Griso wouldn't make it until almost summer (if at all). Guess it's a demand thing. And there has not been a ground swell of excitement for the 850- so far.
Well, put some racer graphics and leather fringe on it and make it happen!
They wouldn't let me have kpaul, kspike, or ksquid. Sean Alexander and their editor had a chat once about me. Hopefully MO will update their website so you can upload pictures.
"Sean Alexander and their editor had a laugh once about me"

I fixed that for you, no charge.
Thanks Yossef, it's always a pleasure to read your contributions.
Good catch. LOL
