Russ at Downtown Harley in Tukwila built one of those for the Seattle show a couple of years back, they were selling it for $25k I think. Looked pretty good with the Road Glide frame mount on it. That's the future right there I think.

I'll take one of those duel plug Panhead repro. engines and slap it in a rigid frame, 2 over springer and a 16 in. star hub wheel, hand banger and rattle can it black....show them boys what a nasty Tacoma bobber looks like LOL

Lots to see and do there George...looks like a blast

You mentioned metric crusiers represented at the show- ...with nothing interesting in the pics or this article to tempt readers further? It all seems like more of the same to me or maybe you ran out of copy space? I hope one of these days aftermarket perrformance will catch up on metric cruiser performance beyond a squirt of nitrous, but for now all we can do is get teased with performance updates on Harley Davidson, yet again.... (insert yawn here) Both Star and VN 2000 would have been nice to see covered but alas ....it is not to be. Where are the performance parts for metric cruisers???

There fixed that for ya...

The answer to your problem is easy. Just go and buy an American Vtwin, then articles and threads like this would be much more interesting too you.

Next time you see a Harley just squint and imagine a (ahem) Star or Kawasaki badge on the stank, that's how the Japanese design them any way.

True enough. Didn't see much Victory stuff there. I think Victory needs to stick with one motor design before they will get much love. S&S has some Victory stuff, but they are one of the few.

For those that don't know, this was a show for aftermarket and specialty MC manufacturers. No large manufacturer of motorcycles was represented here including Harley-Davidson. It was a nice way to spend the day when the temp outside was 10.

Re: Nice eyes!

Perhaps he has more in-common with KPaul than it seems at first blush?

Well Harleys go through a lot of 'em...

Check out ol' longride....10 degrees and he's driving, what a lightweight. I don't even put the lining in my coat till it gets below 10 degrees....

Great, now I can get 100 rwhp on my Fat Boy merely by fitting an intercooled supercharger. That is surely going to leapfrog the competition.

I have moved to Euroland now, lets see when/if the container arrives.
