Me too!

I got the chance to test ride one last weekend. What a blast!

I was sceptical, as it reminded me of a street going quad, and I HATE quads.

BRP's biggest hurdle is the fact that the thing requires a motorcycle license in most states. They are trying to market to non riders more than us.

I told the engineers that they should offer an optional brake lever for us moto types. It would be easy to rig up.

Try one! You'll love it!

Yes, it shifts like a bike. No brake lever, though, just a brake pedal on the right.

You guys are missing the point. This thing is NOT a motorcycle, and was not meant to be one.

The only link to motorcycling is the fact that a motorcycle license and helmet are required in most states.

That doesn't make it any less fun.

According to the people at the test ride, mileage is about 40+ MPG with a light throttle hand (cruising), and dips into the 20s if you pin it all the time. Very similar to most of the big bikes I've owned. (GS1000, FJ1200, YZF1000, GTR1000, CB1000F, XLH1200)

Test ride one. It may be just what the doctor ordered.
