It seems like the Rocker has been getting all the buzz, but how about the new Fat Bob? The H-D website has photos and specs up for all the '08 models.

Is it just me or does this thing look like a Honda Trail 70, or Yamaha TW200, just much fatter. Not that that's a bad thing, but I just think the styling of this bike is kind of out there. And what made them go with the twin headlights? Don't they know that that is a signature styling cue of modern Triumphs?

On the plus side, I like the new Dyna air cleaner cover.

At least the price is fairly reasonable.

I like the styling of the bike. As a sport rider, it's the first cruiser that I've given a second look.
Can't say I'm down with the looks but I'll bet Burns is stoked he can get a set of headlights out of the H-D catalog.
Didn't burns want 'em cheap...like salvage yard cheap?
Screw the Harley.....

..... I saw some guy last week with a fatbobbed old GL1000 Gold Wing complete with ape hangers and drag pipes! I want one. Should be able to get one from a junkyard, too! Maybe Burns would like such a "project" bike.

I'm just trying to help.

I've seen a couple of old "custom" Wings around. I like the old Wings. It's a cool bike and what's not to like about 6 drag pipes?
It looks like they copied a Suzuki Marauder! LOL!

Buell's have twin headlights, too ya know.

In any case, I do like it.
Not bad but I don't care for solid wheels. The one experiance I had with them was on a V Rod and it seemed I got blown around quite a bit in traffic, over all it's a nice looking bike though I still prefer the Street Bob or Wide Glide look.

speaking of old Wings and such, one of the coolest looking bikes I've seen around town is some guys police Kawasaki. It's stripped down though still has the police white paint, solo seat and big fenders but the guy has a 21 in front wheel, weedburners and tall Ape Hangers on it.....The thing looks cool as s**t I swear.
Looks likes the Fatbob was influenced by Exile and the Rocker by American Iron Horse.

That's a mighty nice lookin' Road Glide ya got there.

If I one day bump up to a newer touring bike with ABS I might switch from my EG to an RG.

Thanks. So far it's been a great bike. It was a tough choice between it and a EG Classic though. Something tells me the next bagger I buy will be water cooled. I tend to keep my bikes a long time.
