Totally boring '08 lineup from Suzuki. Where's the innovation & excitement?

Remember, Suzuki had that lame MeanStreak rip-off for about a year and I think Kawasaki had a V-strom rip-off in their European line up for a season also.

Actually the V-strom rip-off wasn't a rip-off, but actually a Kawi-Suzuki collaboration, so it was technically the same bike.

In the end, it didn't matter. How was it perceived? Why was it dropped?

True enough. The V-Strom's still selling well at my local dealers, but no one has ever heard of a Kawi-clone version.
