Just curious, am I the only one that thinks it should be called TAZZ? As in the tazmanian devil from bugs bunny, look at the front view in the article with the lights on.
OK well if Chuck Barris designed motorcycles, it would look like the Vision.
LOL I agree. So ugly
I agree I like the Vegas. Nice and clean. But that Vision thing looks like something out of comic book. Think I would still buy a Harley though because why not have the real deal? Trouble is, I can't decide between the V-Rod, Dyna FXD, or Fat-Boy. The FXD is only 12 grand and the Vegas is $15799.00 on the web site. For that money I would get a V-Rod I think
Style style style - how about substance? Victory needs to stand out to get a slice of the HD crowd. It needs a 30% bigger engine. Had they not been so vision impaired at the time they would enjoy a cult status now. But no: more of the same. Safe road pussies deserve to lose.

Kawasaki doesn't seem to be breaking any sales records with the 2000cc cruiser.
And why do you need a bigger engine? The Suzuki M109 has the same size engine as the vision, but puts out more HP than the Kawasaki 2000.

With anything over 2000cc you are now looking at a bike that weighs a minimum of 850lbs. Don't you think it's a bit much having a 1000lb motorcycle just to have a 2500cc v-twin? At that point you should just get a Boss Hoss and be done with it.

I'd rather a manufacturer get more out of a "smaller" engine and try to keep the weight down.

The last thing Johnny Drops It needs is a heavier motorcycle.

Amen. Throwing displacement at a bike is not the right way to improve performance.

So there IS a replacement for displacement! I KNEW IT!!

In the DSM-World we refer to that as "Boost".

In the dentist's office they refer to it as "Nitros."

Let's not get carried away. :) Every time I have been told that the relationship ended soon after.. :)
I more or less inherited an 04 Kingpin when my father passed away. It's a great bike and I can say that it definately stands out in a crowd. I've owned and ridden HD's over 25 years but I would definately consider a Victory if I was in the market for another cruiser.
Lets think about this for a moment. How keen has the HD crowd been to check out the latest from Japan?

Riding the Vision would give you the opportunity to wear your Judge Dredd Halloween costume year round!

At least the gold lame' arm chaps and knee-high boots...
Does size matter?

>And why do you need a bigger engine?

BrownBar, if you need to ask, you wouldn't understand. Anyways, you are absolutely right. Power-to-weight ratio is very important for cruisers. That's why they buy 64 RWHP bikes with 307 kg dry weight and not 600cc supersports.
