Humorous coworker quote: "Train must have been carrying French soldiers away from a skirmish."
Pretty cool. The writer was a total ninny though.
Yeah I had a good long co-worker-disturbing laugh when I read that... :D
No thanks I'll fly...
I was thinking the same thing. I think he was trying to illustrate the 'drama' of the experience but he just comes off as a coward.

Wish I could have been on it. I like trains.
It's a shame we don't have a rail system that's worth a crap here. I took a train from Paris to London via the Chunnel and it was one of the coolest rides ever. It would be nice to have something between bikes/cars and planes. Maybe someday.

A ninny just the same.
God damn! Can you imagine the challenge of getting across a RR crossing? I'd be dead before that beast showed up on my radar screen. "Hey!, here comes th..."
How DO they solve the road-"handedness" problem through the Chunnel?

French drive on the Right, Brits on the Left............
357.2 MPH... On the ground... That sounds like it would be quite cool.
Insurance executives must lie away at night, thinking about things like that.
I wish to terminate above sentence where it started to go wrong. It should read "insurance executives must lie." Thank you.
Screw that - I wanna sit up FRONT!

(or spend my time running back-and-forth between the front and rear cars, mebbe stop to Moon out the back glass)
S'awright. We all make mistakes now and again. Comes from applying human-like attributes to things that are not.

Just look at me: I converse through this forum with kpaul on a regular basis; yet my Motorcycles still love me.

(O.K. "converse" is a bit of a stretch)
