... it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Old Triumphs require an owner who is willing to spend a lot of time on maintenance. It'd be interesting to know what the reserve is. If it's like most of these things the seller is living in dreamland. If you look again, it has a reserve on it. So the final price is probably much more than that.
Sounds like someone tried to make it into a chopper. I'd say $1,000.00 tops.it seems to be in pretty good shape. the only non stock items are the handlebars and a 16"rear wheel. Couldn't see any indication it had ever been dumped or trashed. Valves may need adjustment slight noise. Original paint still in good shape. Same owner for past 20+ yrs. Top and bottom end rebuilt appx 2k miles ago.
A thousand bucks? Someone hasn't shopped for Brit bikes in a while!Sounds like someone tried to make it into a chopper. I'd say $1,000.00 tops.
It'll cost you around $300.00 to get a stck rear hoop laced up, another sixty for some bars.
Look out for oil misting around the head gasket, rocker boxes, oushrod tubes. It doesn't have ape hangersI hope...
