An idea who's time will ultimately come. The problem is most US riders don't commute to work on their bikes (damn shame I say), but use them as toys. This will probably go over bigger almost everywhere else where bikes are used as transportation. Even though I commute by bike, I have to use I-5 to get over a river, so I'm not a potential customer either. Give me 100 mph and 200 miles range and I'd buy two!

-So, a max speed of 50 mph and a max range of 45 miles if you go no faster than 25mph?! For the low price of 12-15 grand?

Don't get me wrong. I like the looks of the bike considering what it is, but no one will by the damn thing!

It is completely impractical.

You can only go 29 miles if you run at 32mph?!

If it had a max speed of 50mph and you could maintain that for 100 miles, than I could at least see this working. But, MAN! Where could I possibly use this thing?!

Again, I like the look and I hope they stay afloat to advance the bike to a more usable range.

I agree my min requirement is 100 mile range at 60-80 mph.. My commute is 43 miles one way.. So I want a machine I can make it round trip from my house. I can't plug it in at work...

Gee, $12,000.00, and 275 lbs....

That's over $40.00 per pound!

Pretty expensive pork for my taste...

How's that work out on the KPPPI?
