"The Ducati 999R Xerox and Ducati Hypermotard have received World's Most Beautiful Motorcycle awards in Milan, Italy, where several other motorcycles were also honoured.
An international panel of judges met on the last Friday in April, 2006 in Milan.
They included artists Heinz Mack, Vittorio Matino and Kenneth Noland, 15-times motorcycle World champion Giacomo Agostini, design professor Enrico Fagone, transportation designer Michael Conrad, fashion designer Carlo Rivetti and journalist Alessandro Giudice.
The 26 jurors examined and evaluated motorcycles and scooters and defined the top aesthetic achievements of 15 European, Japanese and American manufacturers.
Two awards went to Ducati - Special Series to the 999R Xerox and Best Prototype to the Hypermotard."
