I can't find this info. anywhere on the web, including honda's website itself!

The CFR230L looks like a great bike, and I am comparing it to the XT250 and even the TW200. Width and length are important and so is weight. I would guess its pretty close to the XT250, but ya neva know!

If anyone has an opinion/facts/etc. on the 3 bikes I listed feel free to drop some knowledge too!

Thanks guys! (gals!)

Ha ha! I knew this was going to be asked. I almost went on to say "why", but felt my post would be getting to long. I love the assaulting Iran idea, nice guess but not it. Actually I plan on carrying it behind my cab on my TT unit. When I got the truck I drive now it had a longer than usual frame - extra room between the cab and trailer, and immediately my eyes lit up. Hmmm. Sure would be nice to carry some wheels around for those weekend layovers.
Thought process:
"Nope, bicycles stink. Car? Nope! Motorcycle? Ah ha! Let's look into light weight dual sports" Plus I plan on riding it when I am home and offroad would be a big part of that. Too be honest I probably will never put it on the truck, but if I am going to spend 4G's I mind as well keep that option open. I probably won't carry it just for the fact it could get stolen or dirty. Can't have a dirty "dirt" bike now can we? : P

I doubt the length will be an issue, but it would nice to know to compare to the others I have been looking at. The width however is crucial, narrower the better. Again I suspect there all within a couple inches. Weight isn't a big issue, there all pretty close and I suspect I have plenty of power to pull the added weight. : )

Longride, you mentioned gas prices. I am well aware of the rise in fuel costs. Try $800 the last time I filled up! Thats diesel of course, but still ridiculous.

I don't understand why the politicans can't get it through there thick skulls that eventually that cost will trickle down to everything we buy. Then the economy really goes into the toilet. Didn't want to bring politics into this, but its just amazing to watch nobody doing anything! Uh, hello? Its like A. they know an asteroid is about to slam into us, B. they want the U.S. to become a third world country, or C. there that F-ing stupid and believe the chinese and the indians consumption can be offset by our driving less. World demand will only continue to increase, watching prices climb and climb is no way to fix it. The government makes so much off of gas taxes and especially diesel fuel tax, why should they care? What a windfall. Bush talks about making his tax cuts permanent - agree!, but what about the rise in gas prices? That looks pretty much like a tax hike to me! Its insane.

Holy "S", where's the tylenol??? : /

What were we talking about again, ahh yes, motorcycles!

$9.28? Is there any reason your not rioting?! The sad part is I could easily see our prices going to that, especially the taxes. Its amazing what we put up with now. We just take it and take it, I guess its all the political correctness - everyone is afraid to have an opinion or speak up. That and we care more about American Idol than our own government. :/

We deserve what we've got.
