Are motorcycles next?

Fast, powerful cars within a few years may be outlawed in Europe.

Chris Davies, a British member of the European Parliament, is proposing one of the most-extreme measures -- a prohibition on any car that goes faster than 162 kilometers (101 miles) an hour, a speed that everything from the humble Honda Civic on up can exceed. He ridiculed fast cars as ``boys' toys.''

No worries, Suzy Creamcheese says it can't happen here.

...maybe we can help with the "carbon signature" of the EU if we can stop guys like Chris from exhailing. I suggest a tourniquet placed in the neck area, pulled tight. No more CO2 from that dude...

Bring the key of D minor. I find it the saddest of all keys.
What the hell do you mean 'Are motorcycles next'? THe motorcycles will be first, and if there ain't too much *****ing from the sheeple in cars, then THEY will be next. We'll be the test case.
I'll give ya Dad you #$%#%#%! :p
Those danged males. Acting like boys all the time. Disturbing our modern wussie society. Why can't they act more like women? Like Chris Davies.
I'd be surprised if it passes considering how it would affect such European companies like Ferrari, Aston, BMW, etc etc..
No dad! Don't lock me in the basement! Not the basement!
Yeah, wasn't it a Euro bike company who broke the "gentleman's agreement" to limit bikes to 180mph/300kph? MV Augusta or somebody?
Yep. MV F4. 312 Kph or something like that. It just won "Master Bike".
Socialists will put up with anything!

If you think that the various automobile companies can prevent stupid "protective nanny-laws" from being passed, recall the defunct small arms industries that once employed thousands of Brits. Making small arms illegal has, of course, saved some enormous number of innocent Brits' lives. (Oh, who's counting?) So it just HAS to be a good idea!

You forget the famous cliche: "If it saves one life, it's worth it!" It is obvious that outlawing (some? all?) motorcycles will save lives, therefore "it must be worth it!"
