"51 percent of Americans say God created humans in their present form, and another three in 10 say that while humans evolved, God guided the process. Just 15 percent say humans evolved, and that God was not involved."

Well, there I am in the minority again. Another retarded agnostic who opposes helmet laws.

"Preserve the privilege to ride pass the 7 point kpaul plan.. "

I would rather eat glass.

Am I the only person who believes that it's utterly retarded to advocate laws that one does not already voluntarily follow? If it's such a great idea that it should be imposed upon others, then one should already be doing it.

So, kpaul, are you following all of these steps?

Re: Some more common sense restrictions that we should follow.

Agreed. Riding is a privilege. We should be happy to be limited to 250-cc standards. It's for our own good.

Or maybe the number of people who agree about something is often irrelevent to its truth or value.

I think it's their whole "compulsory" attitude. These people can't do anything of their own accord even as they advocate laws for it. It's the "sheeple" attitude - "Please tell me what to do. I can't do it myself."

Re: Welp

Yes, but they have 100% of their citizens covered! We have only 95% or thereabouts.

Do you think 95% of people having access to the best health care in the world is better than 100% access to substadard care? Fascist!

Socialism - the equitable distribution of misery.

Re: The Philippines are more progressive than backwards U.S.

The logical conclusion to any safety-based argument about motorcycle legislation is to ban motorcycles. Period.

Re: Barbados: Making the proper move to motorcycle safety

Let's not forget that before 1900, global temperatures were in complete stasis for the previous 1 billion years, and since then have showed an increase. Also, weather patterns were completely calm and unfluctuating, whereas now we have global-warming-caused heat waves, global-warming-caused cold snaps, global-warming caused glaciation, global-warming caused de-glaciation, and global-warming-caused hurricanes and tsunamis.

What has happened since 1900? The invention of the motorcycle. Post-hoc ergo propter hoc. Ban motorcycles, save the planet.

Dude, don't forget residential swimming pools. 87 times more likely than a gun to kill a child*. We must ban killer death pools.

*Not regurgitated from an NRA press release. Just Google the number of homes with pools/guns vs the number of children killed by drowning/accidental shooting. Do the math.

Maybe it would be less fragmented if everybody joined the NRA.

No organization is perfect. I have issues with the NRA and AMA, but every year they get my dues because I'm infinitely better off with them than without them.

Wait a minute - I thought he was a "chickenhawk"? Now you're telling me he's one of John Kerry's ********* Mongols?

You nailed it, Browning BAR. Excellent post again. The techy-paranoids will howl about their "rights", but we know it's a privilege.

Really?

"3. Mandatory training every 6 years Federal Law"

Done that?

"6. AMA sponsored real road training classes."

Done a road training class?

"7. Tiered licensed based on hp,torque, and weight combo.."

What were your previous motorcycles before the ZX-6R, and how long did you ride each before moving up to the next tier?

"BTW exactly how many bad gun laws have been reversed by all of the money that we gave to the NRA to "get the right people elected?"

How many bad gun laws were killed in the womb?

Perfect is the enemy of good. Gun control is a dead issue in American politics. I think the NRA gets most of the credit for that. JMHO. Sorry you're disappointed that bad laws remain on the books, but I'll keep ponying up my dues to help insure more bad ones don't get in.

Could you tell me the name of the gun rights organization you belong to and the successes they've had? I'll gladly throw them my support.

Sure - what have their legislative and electoral victories been? In what way have they been more effective advocates for gun owners than the NRA? And where can I find out about them - a Google search only gives me results for the border security organization and the historical Minutemen.
