In WSB, Friday practice sessions don't mean that much. They will in the morning. Most of the guys are still screwing around with setup and swapping between 2 bikes during test sessions. Whoever is has provisional pole after tomorrow morning's test session will be the man to beat. The only things that screw that up in Superpole are the weather(rain, drop in Celsius) and Neil Hodgson!

Ben already has provisional pole. Which means he's got a good setting already. Which this season means he's got a good shot at pole. Which means a good shot at winning.
However, Colin Edwards is running well already. So, if Ben runs great, and Coling runs well, it seems that Coling will still finish the season ranked 2nd, and Ben will finish 3rd. Either way, it's been a great season of racing, any nationalism and favoritism aside. I'm looking forward to this weekend's races.
