The track was a bit cold on the 26th and the 27th it rained from 14.00 onwards.

Bostrom and the other Ducati's did their times with qualifiers, while the GP guys are just testing stuff (KR's: Aerodynamics) on normal race tyres wich aren't fooked up after 3 laps.

So even vdGoorbergh wasn't on the limit and he had a big crash monday. Criville is still recovering from a hand injury and Rossi got the Flu.

How's bostrom gonna do in those conditions?

With the MuZ he scored two pole positions and on the twin he was the best privateer for two years in a row.

He was offered a Honda NSR500 2001 for this year, but cheap Dutch fook ups as we are, he couldn't get enough money. But he had the contract from KR unsigned in his pocket already.

realize the only reason they have their factory rides is because we, racefans, support them. When fans lose the right to criticize them, they lose the right to fans supporting them.

if you havent heard of either of them, you must not pay attention to much gp racing. Goorgergh used to ride a honda twin, and even though it is slow and not really that competitive, it never stopped him from stomping on faster v4 bikes. in fact he was so good, that honda offered him a v4 this year, but he couldnt raise the cash to lease it. and the proton/modenas is king kenny roberts gp team.

if you think those guys are boring, then you didnt watch any races last year, they made wsb look like a second rate support series. gp's kicked ass last year and i hope will do so again this year.

Well, here we go again folks. "My racing series is better than yours." "My bike is better than yours." You are missing the point, which is that today we are spoiled for quality MC racing championships compared to what people were getting years ago. Because we have 2 great World championships we now have more talented riders able to show their talents and more racing for us to watch. Its ALL good. So drop the squiddish **** swinging about "my series is better" and go to the 600 shootout page and tell everyone your bike is better, Im sure they'll have something to say to you there.

Clearly you didnt watch Wsb either. Its hilarious how squids take it so personally when you suggest that non-Gp racing can be just as great to watch. I hope both series kick ass in 01 cuz MC fans will be the biggest winners. As for all that "500s are better cuz they're harder to ride" bla bla, well they're reverse engineering Gp bikes into 'prototype' superbikes for 'progress', so whadya know. Relax and enjoy all the racing you can. Just because I like WSb and AMA superbikes doesnt mean I automatically hate GPs or you personally. That 'Boy' in boyracer sure sounds appropriate....

You didn't get the "juice" reference. Haga wasn't busted for steroids, he was busted for an over the counter weight loss supplement.
