Oh its ok for you to bash, but not me right, come on bro. 12yrs in dealers and you think I'v never tasted the competition?

Wish I could find you trollin around your Logans Canyon. Now that would be fun, hell I'd even give up my real bike and ride any buell for that opportunity.

Underestimation can be a ***** sometimes!

Xb9r was the best I'v ridden tons of tourqe, and alot of fun. That was until I recently threw a leg over the new 1125r which is not built by E.Buell but rotax as you all know.

That thing is a beast, but still has nothing on any of the Japanese/Italian liter bikes of today.

Seruzawa how many Japanese/Italian 1000cc, 750cc, or even 600cc machines have you rode? Do you have any real seattime on any of these bikes? And Iam not talking about ten years ago. Iam talking recently? Since you seem so convinced I'am all talk and no experience.

Yawn... another expert who never rode one.
You know what, I'm going with MOKE on this one! He is truly saying what 99% of the sportbikers truly feel. Even though it's a fact that 99.99% of them can't even come close to using the full potential of a Buell on the track, much less the street, they still feel the need to have Burger Barn bragging rights by riding a bike they really have no ability to ride anywhere near its potential, and I can understand that. Pretty much every psudo racer that came through MO had a serious ego problem. They need to be assured what great riders and racers they are 24/7, even though they never made a dime racing a motorcycle. It's all they got, because if you can't BE the fastest, you can BUY the fastest. I have to hand it to MOKE on this one, he summed it all up in a few words.

Its so nice too see you backin up your buddy, and taking it way out of context, as usual. The conversation had nothing to do with what you've stated. I'll bring you back, all he said was I had never rode one, and he's wrong. Thats all, you dont have to drum up 99.99% of riders, jezz. Talk about egos?

I didn't back him up. I backed you up. I took nothing out of context. Yawn....Buell right? You were going to beat his ass out in Logans Canyon, correct? What was out of context? I'm in total agreement that anyone that has never won a race of any significance, nor made dollar one racing needs the latest and the greatest motorcycle made to inflate an ego that is way out of proportion to their actual skill. I agree with you 100%.

Sorry longride sometimes your sarcasam seems to be pointed at me, I apologize, sorry again! I thought because I'v only heald as high as a number 7plate at best that you were refering to me.

However I do think the Buell's have come a long way since their first design. Just wish it would cut a hole through the Japanese bikes so we Americans could race our own Brand, and represent the U.S manufacture.

4 for one so far. That's pretty good, eh? Methinks we've got a worthy replacement for The One.

Though a Logan Canyon race might be fun. I'll pick the time and day and where to start and just let him go. It'll be fun to watch the UHP impound his [email protected] In any case his attitude indicates someone who isn't long for this world.

I'm convinced. I have a great running 2006 Buell XB12Ss. Will someone please take it off my hands? If you have a truck, you can just have it. I need a superior bike but can't afford to keep this heap and something severely less comfortable but faster above 10K rpms.

See how stuuuuuupid that sounds? I know because I used to make that same argument when I was 18 and loved my buddy's CBR600F3. Grow up MOKE, I did.

I'll take the damned thing. I suck at riding anyway. I'm just a stupid commuter with no skills that that is too ignorant to know just how bad a rider I am! :)
No, you know what, I can't do that to you. Your life is already miserable enough, what with all the sucking so bad and commuting around, that I don't want to make it worse by letting you add another "yawn" bike to your stable. Try Chicago Cycle or Fox Valley for a Honda. It's gotta be new though. I repeat, do NOT buy used, they are not as good as the new ones. Doesn't even matter which model. Your life is going to turn around, I know it. Good luck.

Better feel-again - the 1125 motor IS a Buell motor - it's just "subcontracted" to Rotax for the manufacturing (if you listen to what Buell, Inc. sez). Just like those hollow frames are contracted-out, and the wheels, and the Sportster-based engine in the XB line. Eric Buell hasn't "made" an engine for any of his stuff since the '80s............
