The "RRRuff" Ride - Sunday September 18th

Burlington Humane proudly presents THE 3RD ANNUAL "RUFF" RIDE a charity motorcycle ride and after-event open house and BBQ. This fantastic event will bring together animal lovers and motorcycle enthusiasts to raise money for a great cause. All funds raised will go directly to aiding abandoned and stray animals. So join us for a beautiful scenic ride followed by a fun after event including live music, a silent auction, toonie toss, BBQ, tours of the shelter and more!

Not sure if I should delete this since the Humane Society is a political activist group. Shouldn't they have to purchase advertising space.

Hi there,

I hope you will consider not deleting it, we do not have any political agenda. We are a private local animal rescue, registered charity and volunteer run organization and this is just a fundraiser of which all money raised goes to assisting animals that come into our shelter. This is our 3rd year for the event.

You're thinking of those PETA bastids. Most local Humane Society orgs are just that - local.
