Damn, guess I should have posted this story. The place is a mile from me. I thought when I read it that it was pretty bad, and dumb. This isn't good publicity. I don't think employees park in front anyway. Who's to see.



Someone up thead pointed out this might not be the whole story and I suspect they were looking for a reason to dump the guy anyway.



I wonder how many Harley dealers have done the same, I seem to remember such a story but can't pin it down.



They sell Yam, Suziki, Kawi, and polaris/victory. Nice place physicaly. Every time I drive by I think what a tough bussiness. Seems half their sport bike inventory is off year. I only deal with the parts department. OK I guess, if not some of the sharpest knives in the drawer behind the counter.

I heard that there were some 'protesters' out there this Friday afternoon, with posters. I assume some Hog guys.



This will probably generate more publicity. They say any publicity is good, but dont' know about this one.

The usual contingent of Harely guys. And to throw a monkey wrench into the political angle, a guy who is essentially a labor organizer. That's union talk.

The local Harley dealer is a joke, and it's a pathetic place on the scale of things nowdays with the various Harely shrines and megamalls. Harley hates him and are trying to force him out on the old scamming pre orders thing. A sale was pending a few months ago, not sure it happened.

This guy will be able to get a job wrenching in some Harely shop I am sure.

Muskegon MI has been in recession since 1973. It does have nice beaches. World Class. 30 days a year the water is warm enough to take a swim.

I imagine this doesnt come up too often at Harely shops because of the self selection that goes with being a Harley person. Included in that must be tremendous social pressure. Even if a wayward HD person has a secret perverted lust of another brand they are likely to keep it secret.



Few groups I can think of are more conformist than those freedom loving 1%'ers.



Usually the HD crowd will tolerate a Duc, to a degree. If you pulled up on a GSXR they would have gone totally nuts.
