Does anyone know if a 1980 carb would fit my 1992 bike or is there an alternative, having trouble locating one.

12 years is a long time...I doubt it.

Here's what I'd do: go to BikeBandit.com and locate the OEM parts fiche for your bike. There will be a part number for "Carb Assembly," along with the individual parts. Start with your year and note the part #. Then work back year by year and see if it stays the same. That will give you the range.

Well, you could soak the motorcycle in charcoal lighter fluid and light a match. I promise that it will resolve the carb problem once and for all.
