I think that as exhaust makers adjust to the ever tightening restriction and develop the technology the power commander will still have its place. Most of the motorcycle manufacturers over develop the bikes (sportbikes mostly) and then adjust the motors output to make compliance. The way I see it, the average litre bike is most likely capable of 190-200 hp out of the box with out mods. It's the computer that limits the hp. Power Commander's bypass the function, in most cases, that limit hp and the top speed limiter. In the end, when exhaust companies start working "with in the rules" but are still able to make advances in power then all this will be a mute point. Power Commanders will still fly off the self as long as there is a market for sportbikes.
