Sometimes Canadians look down their nose at our past , i.e. slavery, segragation, illegal imgration on the border with Mexico. They talk about how liberal their imgration laws are. I strike back with the OReilly comment "Canada is aircraft carrier for terrorists" Didn't know about this little skeleton. More power to Mr. Wong. The Canadian Chinese should get compensated, just like African-American s should be compensated as well. I say free college tution for all African Americans for life...

Sorry, I love Canada and hockey. You remember hockey don't you Just a little tired of the attitude some Canadians have. Hey we, the U.S., invented the melting pot.... so don't try to take credit for it. Just kidding Canada is in great shape now: Good fiscal policy, lots of natural resources, good environmental policy, educated citzens, diversity, etc.

I am half Irish pal, we were never enslaved like Blacks. That's the difference. They were never compensated for the generations of free labor they provided. I am also part Cherokee so I say they should be compensated as well.... This isn't special treatment, it is correcting an injustice. Think of it as a large class action law suit. This gesture would go a long way in mending the racial divide which has been getting wider in the last 4 years.

Education is the great equalizer. Education must be earned. So I didn't say give it away. I said free tuition not free grades i.e. they have to earn the grades.

Not all African Americans get free college tuition

Trade and Vocational schools would be included in my plan. African-Americans who need continuing education would qualify as well. It's not a handout it's an equal opportunity to compete. Level the playing field for the generations of abuse whites have inflicted on blacks...Yes I am white and had family on both sides of the Civil War. The plight of Irish, Italian, etc imigrants is pale in comparison to the violence, rape, enslavement, African-Americans have endured.

Those were Brits not Americans that enslaved the Irish. By the time 1776 rolled around there were no Irishin America enslaved.

If you are white you have something to do with it. Either you ancestors turned there eyes away from it or did it. Even if they were against it. It still persisted so we collectively as white folk have a responsibility. Think of it as tax on the white race. Of course maybe we could pay back by being slaves for a 100 years. I agree with you O'Really is a big farce. I actually met the guy many years ago when he was a reporter for KMGH-TV in Denver. He never made it big in Denver. Folks there saw through the B.S. He is a Red State phenom... Notice most of his stories are tabloid in nature....good for the trailer trash NASCAR fans of the Red States.

100 years of free labor + interest

For a 100 years the U.S. benefited from a large supply of free labor. Time for us white folks to give back for another 100 years by paying for the college tuition of African Americans for another 100 years. It's actually not quite fair for African Americans if you look at the cost of their labor for 100 years plus interest.
