Re: Ask this one too

YOU served? What'd you do? Get VEAP or GI Bill?

At least this time around, we have a 3:1 or better ratio when we fight. Lessons in warfare HAVE been learned and the pols are letting the warfighters fight and not micromanaging ala Vietnam. And (believe it or not) the pols are doing what they think will keep this country safe for you and your kids to mock them.

Enough soapbox, back to rum and cokes and mocking that dumbass football player....

All I know is that if the police can start fining me $150 every time I "disregard safety" then I'm gonna be broke in a few days.

What kind of "friendly" fascism is charging people with "disregarding safety" anyhow? Wouldn't getting out of bed in the morning qualify? How about not looking both ways when crossing the street or not flossing every day?

I know I know.. stop complaining you wacko. Join us... baaaaaa.... join us... baaaaaa......

The irony is that those wacky lefties who threw dogshyt on returning soldiers are the baby killers now.

Re: He's a soldier!

First JohnBoyB and now Sean admits to serving. Isn't that blasphemy in the land of fruits and nuts?

Hey, in the spirit of Memorial Day how about listing the where/when/which service/highest rank of the MO staff?? Your fellow Vets will love it.

I too was once young, dumb, and full of.....enthusiasm, Army enthusiasm!

Re: Aw, crap...

Yeah, I'll just bet that a guy who served in Vietnam is still in the Reserve 35 years later. Yeah right. you bet.

Re: Is there a charge for premeditated stupidity ?

I don't get it! Winslow loses millions becasue he is a supid boob, while Paris Hilton makes millions even-though she's stupid and doesn't have any boobs. Reality is very strange, especially on TV.

I was thinking to myself, not being a recent football fan, isn't Kellen Winslow a little old for that kind of foolishness. I didn't realize it was Junior. I read the ESPN story. All i can say is ROTFLMAO. Ooh, a mean ol' Gixxer 750 in a parking lot. As Bugs Bunny would say, "What a maroon!"

Welcome to the world of the pragmatic sunshine patriot.

Now, now, everything's fine. We've got a dolt in the White House, and everyone is back to shouting, "America, right of wrong!" Yep, our leaders are honest - and not for sale - and the oil lobby is just a bunch of patriotic altruists. Best of all, everything is okay: FOX News says so. Yes sir, we're back in the good-old-days, where nobody questioned the government - and if you did, you were nothing but a low down, lilly livered, son of a b!tch!

Welcome to the McCarthy era, revisited.

Re: A complete waste of time

It's like Vietnam, the Pentagon Papers and Watergate, never happened. Five administrations worth of lies, greed and death - and just three-decades later, we've fogotten everything. If you believe things are going well in Iraq and the news media is just-against the war, keep this in mind. There was no imbedding of journalists during Vietnam - they were allowed to travel freely - but still, five admisitrations were able to conceal incredible amounts of embarrassing information. Duing this war, the press has much less freedom - what we hear is what the Bush Administration wants us to hear.

Never, never, never, blindly trust the government.

You're most welcome...

That said, I don't seem remember eliciting your opinion on my opinion.

No matter, always a pleasure to receive a constructive feedback, thanks so much!

I submitted and posted the story. Since you felt compelled to tell us it shouldn't have been posted, I just reminded you I will sleep better knowing your all-important opinion. Next time I'll check with you before I post up something to make sure it's worthy of your time. We certainly can't have you upset with anything here, or the site itself would shut down. If you didn't want to read it, then don't. Nobody twisted your arm and made you tell us how bored you were.

Re: He's a soldier!

I think the proper spelling is "HOOAH"

As you know, HOOAH is an acceptable, generic response for any question from a superior. Enlisted folks will tell you that HOOAH is derived from the acronym HUYA (head up your ass). So rather than telling an officer that he's insane for making you clean the latrine yet again, you'd simply yell out HUYA and not get an Article 15....
