Have you seen the bike the kid is riding in the new Indiana Jones movie?

It's supposed to be an old, I dunno, Indian maybe. Springer front end.

But, it has modern controls, either an Evo or TC motor (judging by the primary cover), and Lord knows what gas tank they used. They have one shot of the kid kick starting it with the old bicycle-type pedal.

Whoever the stunter was could really throw it around, though.

As far as the movie, I give it a 5 out of a possible 10. I wouldn't give it that much, but it had a lot of things from older Ford movies, not all of them I.J. titles.

Now, Ironman was something else! I want to go see it again, but without my 5 year-old. I missed a lot of dialogue (I think). Make sure you stay for the teaser at the end of the credits. Not much, but apparently other adventures are coming to a theater near you.

Ironman was pretty good. Downey is doing good stuff since getting off the coke. I won't be seeing IJ until the lines dwindle some. I did see pictures of the bike. Definitely a disguised HD.

I'm still waiting for season4 of Battlestar Galactica to come out on DVD. That show's got just about everything else beat to shyt. Very unusual for a TV effort.
"is doing good stuff since getting off the coke"
-Which is shocking since it is usually the other way around. Most of the time when an actor/musician/artist gets off drugs their sh!t usually sucks.

Speaking of good stuff, Downey as a black man looks like it has some promise.
Tropic Thunder | A Ben Stiller Film | Tropic Thunder Movie

Any movie making fun of actors is ok in my book.
It's an '07 Softail Springer "made up" to look like a '57 hard-tail, so I read somewhere. Of course, the modern TC engine is the #1 dead-giveaway...........
fraken toasters...

That has got to be the best show on TV hands down. I'm waiting for a full box set, that and the new Dr. Who series is the best Sci Fi going. Excellent, can't say enough about it.

Haven't seen IJ or Iron Man yet, I just bought "There Will Be Blood" with Daniel Day Lewis about 1920's wildcatters, should be good, he's turned into a pretty good actor IMO
Has anyone ever heard of a motorcycle with an automatic transmission?
Sure, there have been a few. None recently though.

Yes, there's an entire line of bikes from a company called Ridley...wait a darn minute! You asked this question on another thread you sneaky bastard! What are you trying to pull anyway pal? Huh? Sneaking around getting extra answers for free? You'd better get the hell out of here before one of the moderators tracks your IP address and has Kevin Duke come over and dig your lawn up with a Hyper Motard.
well "There Will be Blood" turned out to be a bit of a clunker.. However I bought the box set of "Firefly" which is the TV series that the movie "Serenity" is based on, that turned out to be excellent so all is not lost.
Firefly was a great series! I think it (collectively) was better than the movie, 'Serenity.'

Sorry it's gone. What'd the box set cost you, and where?

Supposedly Joss Whedon was so p!ssed at Fox, he swore he was never doing TV again.

Well, they must've thrown him some serious green, 'cause he's coming back. He says he's working with a whole new/different group of folks.

The new show, Dollhouse, was announced by Fox in May 2008 to begin airing in January 2009.
