Here's a bike that you just don't find in this kind of shape any longer!! A 2 year frame off restoration was performed with this bike with a huge amount of custom parts fabricated for it including; Wheels glass beaded with 3 coats of clear. Brakes rebuilt, with custom drilled rotors and rebuilt calipers. Motor stripped, glass beaded and urethaned. Frame sandblasted and urethaned as well. Motor has 6K, speedo is new at roughly 200 miles. Carbs rebuilt, complete valve adjustment, and tune up. New Clutch, New Tires, All cables replaced. Custom racing Cambell Xpipe header system. All hand controls, and switches replaced Tank and tailpiece, side covers, stripped beaded and urethaned. Seat custom built by Tops Sebastian, FL.; Fairing custom built by Streetfighters USA with dual headlights and hidden LED turn signals and custom rear LED brake lights. I have receipts on rebuild and costs. I have spent thousands more on this bike getting it to where it is now then what I am asking for here. Economic times have hit hard and this is a great opportunity to make my loss a huge gain for you.

As they say a picture is worth a thousand words... I feel these 4 speak volumes. I have more detail photos and can take photos of anything you would like. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or call me at 860.887.5976 if no-one answers please leave a message. Asking price $5,500 OBO for this custom classic. If you would like any further info/photos please feel free to call me or e-mail me.

If photos do not show up in add please click on links below to see photos.

Thank you,
Steve

Nice bike, Good Luck....
Being a life-long Kawasaki nut, after all that work, why do you want to sell it? Just park it in the garage for Sunday rides, and buy a used Busa or something to thrash around on.

Dig those single-pot front brake claipers. Classic.
Trust me I would love to hold on to it but with my OT going down the drain and with 2 kids doing all kinds of sports and what not I have to give something up. Trust me it is bumming the hell out of me just thinking about it.... all I know is someone is going to be totally psyched!!
I'll bet that 4 into 1 sounds pretty damn good.

Where are you located?

Connecticut.
Connecticut.
How'd you know that? *scratches head*
"I'll bet that 4 into 1 sounds pretty damn good."

Now if you were his neighbor would you say that???

We'll see what my neighbors say if I go for that 2Bros kit for the Vee. I'm all in favor of loud bikes, IF they have a well tuned sound. A VTX with Longshots, for example, should be a felony. Same pipes on a Twinkie are cause for a community service award.

So you are thinking of deafening small children and ruining nice summer days for everyone too? I thought I was the only one that did that? I think I have one up on you though, I deafen eveyone and ruin bad winter days for people too. I can't believe you will be so inconsiderate of your neighbors!

I am indeed. Wifey #5 is a Boca attorney; we bought a house in a snooty neighborhood. They just loved the Shovelhead and it's drag pipes, especially when I was doing the boat captain job and leaving at 5 am for work. They had a parade and block party when I moved out.

The Vee has more engine noise than exhaust sound; there's a technique listed in some of the websites for opening up the stock cans, but of course, that will never sound as good as slip-ons. 2Bros website has a sound clip of my engine with their VALE setup, it is sick.
My phone number starts with 860 which is a CT area code... lol

Actually it is not a 4 into 1 pipe, it is a 4 into 1 then splits back into a 2, it is designed so that allpistons have the same compression to make the motor run smoother... it is a custom designed header that is pat. pending. Yes it sounds very sweet, throaty - but not rediculously loud.

Implausibly Loud, then?
Aw c'mon. Sing a little song with me, to the tune of "To All The Girls I've Loved Before:"

To all the girls I've wed before,
Banged a few times, headed for the door.
We had a laugh or two, no more,
And now you're feeling like a ****.

There, isn't that better?
This is a little more accurate:

To all the girls I've given money to,
Banged a few times, got too attached.
I learned nothing from the poor plans I hatched,
And now I'm feeling like an @ss.
I can't even afford gas.
All because of the alimony I Pay.
I can barely make it thru the day.
Look, another broad I can give some money to.
You wanna' play you're gonna' pay, who ever said p*ssy was free?
