LOOK!

It's those same danged yamaha pictures! From that same daned Yamaha press release!

Well.. at least there's comic relief. I mean.. right there near the same article that's been up for what seems like a decade... appear the words: Mile_eater, please renew!

hahahaha! That's funny.

Re: Well now that you mentioned it the Great Motorcycle Prophet did..

You and your nancy-boy 600 are free come try me and my old dynosaur anyday.

I'll concede that the 636 is a bad little bike, but please... the pinnacle of racing?

We have a word for that... we call it, "Moto GP"

Brave new MO

they tell me MO is off into a brave new sort of motojournalism which doesn't really require road tests and things of that nature, but which requires Sean A only to attend and write up press introes. ? Leaves me a bit bored personally, but what do i know? we'll see...

Re: Brave new MO

Seriously... how hard is it to come up with something to say? A new article once or twice a week. That's all we're talking about here. Is that so hard?

Jeez guys.. I blog 4 or 5 times a day! I don't have this kind of audiance... I only get about 10,000 per month or so... but then again... it ain't my job either.

I guess what I'm sayin' is... Get off your butts!

Write about your last ride. Give us a long term update. Give us fact, or fiction, or fun. Give us commentary.

Just give us.... something...

Re: Brave new MO

I believe the last article with pictures that we got was the TZ750 article on July 23.( unless you count the quik takes on the buells).

One other thing is that I don't think that Mo is "giving" us anything. We already paid them our money they just need to do what we paid them for in the first place.

That said, I think we all enjoy Mo articles so much that if we don't get our fix we start to get the shakes and get real nervous.

Re: Brave new MO

what about Sister Kim's cleavage? the commentary could also apply to MO. What happened to the daring stuff that made it a toolshed name? Why when i think about the mileage the old MO would've gotten out of all those exploding dunlops it makes me quiver... all that's left is to replay Clavin's vino crash over and over...

MOs new plan to maximize profit

Kind of like Pavlov's dog. According to my Psych 100 class I took when I was in college, the most additive pattern is one of intermittent reinforcement. i.e. MO every once in while reacts to our whining by publishing a well written article. Sometimes they react with a pub release, sometimes with a op ed pieces and sometimes not at all. Strike the op ed piece, that stopped when Burns left. Anyway now this is the time where the dog doesn't get a treat. Grrrrr.

Re: Look at this way

Actually I am an angry Picket Boat Vet.

And I sure wish someone WAS paying me. All I get for all the shyt I went through is a free cremation and a free flag. That's the govt's idea of a benefit.

I told my wife to bury my urn upsidedown next to my Dad's at the National Cemetary in Westwood. That way either Bush or Kerry can kiss my @ss. In fact they can kiss it right now... no problem.

Don't celebrate yet. I'm not going until I get a chance to pi$$ on Jane Fonda's grave.
