I was thinking along the lines of Vietnamese dealers exchanging their "quality" parts for "cheap" Chinese ones being like fleas arguing over who owns the dog but it didn't really play out....

The last pair of Clarks I bought was made in Vietnam, so far they've held up well enough. Not as comfy as the original Made in Ireland ones though.
