Re: Price Reductions - New bike

Its kind of like "if you have to ask....You wouldnt understand"

The Ducati appeals to you on an emotional level that can be compared. Its a decision that is ultimatly made by a compromise between your heart and wallet. To me I would pay a premium for the Duc, probably not a $2k premium but something.

Yeah, what's up with no update?

I agree. What's up with no update on the head bolt fiasco? Many threads have asked several times for a response. Johhny B turns to MOrons for helpful advice, they reply in spades, and he can't muster a simple one-line update for their efforts after multiple requests?

The only thing I can suspect is that he broke down and brought it to dealer and doesn't want to admit it...

All the people who lost their jobs and had their lives thrown into a mess by the Piazza super ego move to California are laughing now! By the way, where is Mike Piazza now? Probably hanging out with the Highwayman doing maintanance to their Super Leakers.

In spite of the slow world-wide economy, and the recent incentives offered, both Ducati and BMW Motorrad have recently reported record or near record profits. Given Harley's recently reported record profits, it seems that the high-end segment of the motorcycle market is stronger than the lower priced segment.

It does seem that all three of those brands are more conscious of pricing than in the past.

Re: Yeah, what's up with no update?

Say it ain't so... first Longride is not getting his kid into motocycles, now JB is taking his car to a dealer! I can't take this, whats next, Kpaul posting something we all agree on, or worst the Highwayman turns out to be Jesse James ;)

Re: They need to work on dealer attitude

There is a Ducati dealer here in Greenville SC that is great - Touring Sport.

You can sit on anything, and schedule a test ride if they are sure you are serious.

Very Friendly
