I think this is cool because it's another example of how new technologies will overcome previous limits to the sport. Right now, the major manufacturers are thinking up ways to control and manage the (apparently) overwhelming power their liter bikes are putting out, using fairly clumsy solutions like Suzuki's "Fast, Faster, Fastest" button. Here we see a completely new approach to active systems management. No surprise that it's a spinoff from aviation, where similar technologies have made "unflyable" shapes like the flying wing completely and easily managable. However, at some point, you have to wonder where or if an appropriate stopping point will be reached. What is the fastest speed any bike racer is willing to crash at? Likewise with a streetbike rider. Maybe speeds are already to the point where it doesn't matter anymore, I don't know.
