F800 review?

When will we ever get a ride report on this?

I second this! Inquiring minds want to know if the F800S or ST are all that.
I rode an S and liked it very much.

There a vicious little rumor going around that the F800 will have a new "R" sibling. Also, to fuel the flame, since Husky was bought by BMW the really cool Husky SM prototype that they showed late last year was originally designed with the F800 motor in mind. Could you imagine that bike going up against the Hypermotard?

... that the Germans have the $8.5K 650cc and $10K 800cc markets completely sewn up.

Picks: Excellent power delivery, smooth-shifting transmission; Light nimble and stable steering; A brand-new accessorized touring BMW under $15,000.

Pans: Mirrors are useless except as helmet hangars; Procey compared to other mid-sized bikes; Accessory outlet should be on left side of bike.

Now, for the squids: Measured top speed: 145.0mph. 0 - 1/4mi.: 12.08 at 110.39mph. 60 - 0mph: 124.1ft.
