This documentary (not a movie) was very well done. I've followed racing for a number of years and the thing about this film is that it's kind of hard to follow. They jump around a good bit and that's fine, but for the uninitiated, a little confusing. My hope is that a film like this can get people interested in motorcycle racing. It's sad that Torque and Biker Boyz were in locations across the country and Faster is known only by people like us. Overall, great film. Loved the doctor, the perfect Italian.

Hope we get a GP in the US next year!!

If you live near Atlanta, I was told that there will be a ride (partially sponsored by Ducati) with Ben Bostrom, Kevin Schwantz, and Ewan MacGregor in attendance riding from a dealership in Alpharetta (a suburb north of Atlanta) to see the movie on the big screen in Midtown Atlanta. I'm not connected to the shop, but you can search or call Moto Britalia in Alpharetta, GA. I'll see you there. I was told this will happen the evening of Thursday, September 2nd.

I rented them from my local shop at the time, but I think they're also advertised in Cycle News (usually a full page ad). They're real videos, with no hyped "drama," and a lot sharper filming. Some of the races won by Schwantz and Wayne Gardner were unbelievable. Also, there's no re-used footage (like in Faster).

No show down in Mo(rgan)town.

Sorry kids... the head-to-head comparo of a 1997 Isuzu Trooper and a 2003 Mille R will have to wait. Rained out.

Instead, I submitted a review of those cool colored tires you always see in the back of the print rags.

I think it's good info... but then again... I'm a jerk... so who could blame them for not posting something sent in by a jerk?
