Faster Movie Releases ... spread the word

Even better than the DVD is that the movie has been picked up for wider cinema distribution. Check out this press release from the director, find out if there are screenings in your area, and help spread the word.

USA NEWS FROM SLAMDANCE HQ: -

Slamdance goes On The Road across the USA with Mark Neale's critically acclaimed MotoGP documentary FASTER beginning September 2, 2004.

Following several successful local screenings FASTER has been pushed up the distribution rankings to compete on the front line with the big boy Studio releases. Not bad for a 100% independently made picture! Plus, the film

has been transferred to 35mm film in Dolby® 5.1 digital sound!

You can see when and where FASTER is going to play by going to http://www.slamdance.com/distribution/faster.asp

You can help us to promote the movie: we indies don't have the big print and

advertising budgets of the Hollywood studios so your word is much appreciated and very important to us. Also, if you would like to receive posters and/or postcards to distribute to your friends and customers please do not hesitate to let Kate at Slamdance know by e-mail. Her address is

[email protected]

All the best,

The Faster & Slamdance Team

This documentary (not a movie) was very well done. I've followed racing for a number of years and the thing about this film is that it's kind of hard to follow. They jump around a good bit and that's fine, but for the uninitiated, a little confusing. My hope is that a film like this can get people interested in motorcycle racing. It's sad that Torque and Biker Boyz were in locations across the country and Faster is known only by people like us. Overall, great film. Loved the doctor, the perfect Italian.

Hope we get a GP in the US next year!!
This movie can't hold a candle to Biker Boyz and Torque. Rossi is a wimp compares to the riders in these movies. Rossi is a wimp compared to the REAL riders in these movies.
ugly troll

Out came the ugly troll "Who's that trip trapping across my bridge" he roared.
Re: ugly troll

Ahh, another pearl by the swine! I was wondering how you've been since the toilet seat hit you on the head.
Re: Release of Faster Movie (MotoGP)

I thought you would never buy an H.D. Then again you did say that you want a cruiser someday.
Sean "Snow White" Alexander and the Swift Boat Dwarfs.

Another example of Swift Boat chicanery. Seruzawacko will come out next
If you live near Atlanta, I was told that there will be a ride (partially sponsored by Ducati) with Ben Bostrom, Kevin Schwantz, and Ewan MacGregor in attendance riding from a dealership in Alpharetta (a suburb north of Atlanta) to see the movie on the big screen in Midtown Atlanta. I'm not connected to the shop, but you can search or call Moto Britalia in Alpharetta, GA. I'll see you there. I was told this will happen the evening of Thursday, September 2nd.
I rented them from my local shop at the time, but I think they're also advertised in Cycle News (usually a full page ad). They're real videos, with no hyped "drama," and a lot sharper filming. Some of the races won by Schwantz and Wayne Gardner were unbelievable. Also, there's no re-used footage (like in Faster).
It seems like Dorna and Scramp made an agreement and Laguna is going to be on the schedule for next years MotoGP. Hoooray!
Re: ugly troll

Go back to your hole Cyclops. Maybe if you cut down on the number of times per day you jerk off to pictures of sportbikes your other eye will start working again.
No show down in Mo(rgan)town.

Sorry kids... the head-to-head comparo of a 1997 Isuzu Trooper and a 2003 Mille R will have to wait. Rained out.

Instead, I submitted a review of those cool colored tires you always see in the back of the print rags.

I think it's good info... but then again... I'm a jerk... so who could blame them for not posting something sent in by a jerk?
Re: Release of Faster Movie (MotoGP)

Did you get on of those flat plasma screens? I was checking them out at Good Guy's.

Watching Faster would be a good way to see if it works.
Re: HEY!!!!!

Did you remember to order Faster yet
Re: ugly troll

From the level of maturity in his posts I'd say he was whackin' off watching Sesame Street
Re: ugly troll

Heh heh. I knew it would only take a few days for the liar to start his lying propaganda posts again.
Re: No show down in Mo(rgan)town.

Thats to bad about the head to head, but I hear that those troopers are pretty unsafe in the rain. What color is the troop., maybe it needs matching tires also.
Re: HEY!!!!!

Yes, I did, thank you veramuch.

Now I only have to wait four weeks to watch it.

Four weeks?

Ugh.
