Levity and whimsey must escape you. I have seen things go from the helpful to the absurd on this site and never have I read a comment from this crowd that couldn't be taken with a grain of salt. If you cannnot handle this then you would have been shocked on the "old" site when K-squid and the rest of the motley crew got into politics when the original thread started as some newbie wanting a GSXR1000.

... pretty much a free speech site all along. Bartel, Burns, Sean Gabe... they pretty much let it all hang out. About the only thing that gets deleted besides spam are threatening posts or obscene ones or anything by sarnali2 when he drinks (which is often).

Just about every other major site is dominated by thread nazis. This is fine. Anyone can run their site any way they wish. If the daily free-for-all here is too much for some people then there are plenty of highly regulated sites to visit where anything off topic (or interesting) is censored.
