Auto-canceling turn signals are overrated - and can be dangerous.
Example: you're waiting to turn left at a stop sign in traffic (with your signal on) - a car pulls up to the stop sign across from you. It's finally clear to go, so you make your turn - and the car across from you makes its jump across the road at the same time; only the driver assumes you're not turning, because your auto-cancel shut off your signal without your notice...........
