Are you actually recommending starting out on a 1400cc sportbike? Are you nuts? New riders should start on something much slower and smaller, like a Hayabusa.

Best advise for new riders is to take the Motorcycle Saftey Foundation Basic Rider's Course. It is available in most places through one of your local bike shops and is availble at no cost to military at their installation's motor vehicle saftey office.

Or if you don't like "them rice rockets" the Boss Hoss is a perfect newbie bike. Make sure to get the bigger engine, and you might want to add superchargers or you'll outgrow that bike in a month.
