Excelllent Smithers.

Oh, there you go again. Bringing up your crazy "facts" and "figures" to cloud the argument. Well, it isn't going to work this time Mister!

1. Positively negative in a +/- orientation
2. Shims with tappet screws in the buckets
3. Sucked
4. Scary Sucky versus Sucky Scary
5. Depends on the headwind and how busy Charlie was that day.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Except #2. That was a trick question. The old Ducks used an eccentric pivot to adjust the valve clearance.

And #5. Proximity of enemy 82mm mortar fire affects motorcycle top speed in direct proportion. But you get 50% for 1/2 correct answer.

As a reward you get a free gift certificate to Crazy Tuco's Custom Choppers and Meth Lab for a free armchap.

Okay. I'll bite. But first you gotta tell me whether the Norton 750 Commando was positive or negative ground. Whether the 60's Ducati singles used tappet screw adjusters or bucket/shim. What were the handling characteristics of the 1954 AJS 500 twin? What were the power characteristics of the '75 KawMach III vs the '69? And finally how long does it take to ride a Honda CL90 from the rock quarry on the South China Seacoast at Monkey Mountain to the downtown center of Danang, RVN.
You don't sound like a 'Book Biker' now..........more like a junkyard owner.

#2 I was gonna say that but I didn't want to embarass Mr. Bro's

#5 1/2 is better than nothing. About an average score for me at any rate.

You know, the beauty of this site is no one is safe from scrutiny. If you can't state your case with confidence you may as well drop it and wait until the next arguement.

Hmmm, would you like to try mine?
Sure, I will try anyone you put in front of me. Bring it over, I'l give you my honest opinion. But remember, opinions are like assholes , everybody has one & most of them stink.
I guess I openned a can of worms & everyone is diggin in the dirt. There is no need flaunt you motorcycle prowess, the only one you impress in the end is yourself. As far as the guy who worked at the harley dealership goes, how many times have you gone into any dealership, motorcycle, Car, Boat, etc. & have them offer you what your vehicle is really worth! When they sell them they post price tags on them way above stock but when it comes to yours, Cmon.
And to whomever it was that had concerns obout over inflated prices on customs, look at the price! we are not even talking over ten grand for a show winning bike in spotless condition, Really guys, lets be real & why are we having this conversation on a 4 sale forum I don't know!!
Look, all i'm doing is trying to sell an extremely nice bike at a reasonable price. If you dont like it, dont buy it but don't Impugn it. (yes, most bikers do have a decent vocabulary). And for the guy who is not wanting to start an argument, I prefer to thing of it as trading her in for a different model that I can upgrade again later!!

Brush up on your history there partner!

PS: it's not a bad bike, if you like chopped metrics with apehangers, green paint, and Nazi symbols.
You need to brush on your history & put your glasses on. For one the bike is Pagan Gold not green, Two it does not have apehanger bars, they are the stock bars With 4 up 2 back risers & three the Iron Cross Or Maltese Cross is not a Nazi symbol!! The only thing you got right was that it is a metric, & I will take a wet cluched, hydrolic valved metric over a Harley or Harley type motor any day of the week!!

Well, 'cuz we're bored. Or Smartarses.

Nobody is really disparaging the price on the bike (well, almost nobody!). If you stay here long-enough, you'll see we're irreverent to just about every subject that comes-up on the board.

That said, it's about a 40/40/20 mix of Cruiser-guys/ Sportbike-guys/ Realbike-guys on this bulletin board (I belong to the latter group :D ). But, there are few if any "custom chopper" riders. So, it's probably not the best place to attempt a sell here (but I won't say it's impossible - some might pass-along that it's for sale to friends).

However, you ARE invited to stick-around. Don't take anything personal, it's (usually!) not meant that way (unless your last name is "Cook"!).

Fist, love the bike. It's so unique!

Damn. I always get Pagan Gold confused with Druid Green. My bad.

The bars comment was a reference to a likely rider.

All those Nazis my Dad and Uncle were shooting at were wearing those Maltese Crosses..guess that's why I get them confused.

I had a friend who dated a hydrolic-valved metric once. She did all his blow and left as soon as it ran out.

The Christian "Nights of Malta" were the first known to sport the maltese cross design during the first crusades. It stood for honor, lotalty & bravery in battle. The germans began using it under kaiser rule before WW1. Just because the Nazi's wore an emblem doesn't make it a Nazi emblem!! They wore Eagles too, are they Nazi symbols? Hell they even wore pants, maybe thats why you get them confused!! By the way, my father & three uncles, along with several other relatives of mine served in forward areas during WWII. But maybe we should leave that subject for another day.
