This "Google" thing - if they would make it a bit more useful finding things, I believe it just MIGHT catch-on.

When you google the correct amount of fork oil to add, it will probably come with a measurement, something like 191 mm or the like. That's the distance from the top of the fork to the oil, usually with the spring in and the tube fully extended. Go to your 1$ store, buy a spray bottle, remove the spray mechanism, cut the tube that extends down to the length listed. You should be able to insert the tube into the fork, and if you can spray any oil out, you've got too much in it, otherwise if there is no oil at all on the sprayer when you remove it you may not have enough. Despite the helpful crowd here, don't fill it to the top of your fork and replace the cap, unless you found the fork seal changing process enjoyable.
A skinny turkey-baster works better. You just graduate the side of it with a sharpie in 5mm increments; squeeze the bulb, dip in to the corresponding mark, and let go of the bulb. Eazy-Peazy. If you're within 5mm of the spec-height, you're golden.

This ain't Rocket Science, after all.

I ah..... wouldn't use it to baste a turkey after this, though.

And if you DON'T have an oil-height spec; you gotta measure-out the CC's. Find a measure-cup in the kitchen-supplies section of Mal-Wart that's graduated in "ml ". One ml = One CC. It's a bit cruder this way, as you can't get it as exact as using those spendy forkoil measure-cups you get at your local moto-dealer.

But this ain't Rocket Science.

10CC's more or less won't be felt by anyone short of Casey Stoner or Valentino Rossi.
