Any country fans in here? Just picked up the new album "Living Hard" by Gary Allan and I must say it's amazing! Never really liked country til a friend from umgd recommended Gary to me and I fell in love! lol Seriously, it's good stuff. If you like country, this is THE album to buy this year.

Being a fossil and avowed "Classic Rock" kinda guy, I'm almost ashamed to admit I took a listen to the new duet album, "Raising Sand" featuring Allison Krauss and - wait for it - Robert Plant!

As mindbending a concept as that may be, they actually sound pretty good. Not good enough to part with my $$, but good.

If you have an enquiring mind, there are a couple of youtube videos that are only moderately irritating, but have several music samples.

With the ability to join free sites spammers have easy access to mess up a good thing. I am and will always be a "pay for" member because I find the site interesting and entertaining. I wish that the higher ups would go back to the pay site to weed out the unwanted.

That don't impress me much.

My in-laws periodically subject me to their music which is thoroughly laden with country. The unfortunate result is that lyrics to songs that make me want to hurl are indelibly committed to memory. I feel motion sick just thinking about it.
