I want to switch gas tanks and go to a 1400 tank on an 800 Intruder, if it has more fuel capacity. Does anyone know? or have any info. Sure would appreciate it.

Jim, I share your pain. Would you consider an auxiliary tank? Look at Menu for some examples that work very well with cruisers.

The 1400 intruder tank mounts different than the 800 tank and they are not interchangeable. The 1400 tank holds ~3.4 gallons, the 800 about ~3.2 gallons. There's a bit less for California models.
