What concerns you about the size? What specific features will you be looking for? What environment would you use the GPS in the most?

AFAIK, the nautical maps can be loaded onto any Garmin. Most motorcycle-friendly Garmins are waterproof as well.

I use a Zumo and a 2610 on my bike, and I also use the Zumo in the car. The Zumo is extremely easy to use, much easier than the 2610 or 276/376/486 series. I highly recommend it.

I am thinking about the Magellan Crossover Vehicle GPS because I plan on also doing some geocaching when riding season is over. I also sail so I like the mapping screen features, My main concern is the mount for my bike and windshield.
What specific features do you need to do Geocaching? The ability to get specific latitude and longitude measurements on the GPS? (That sounds like a cool sport by the way.)

I've never tried to do that on my Garmins, but my (vague) recollection is that they are able to do it. However, what I suggest you do is go to Adventure Rider Motorcycle Forum and check the "tracks" forum. That forum talks about GPSs in DETAIL!! and will have far more people with far more knowledge of GPSs of various sorts than we do. We are a good forum in our own way but we can't hold a candle to AdvRider for GPS knowledge.

Good luck!
