Happy 4th of July you MOfos

In 2006 I spent the 4th of July at Lucerne Valley guzzling beer at the Slash X, exploding highly illegal fireworks and raising hell at night with a flashlight taped to my CR500.

In 2007 I spent the 4th in Rehab at some dank hospital in Northridge, trying to get my laptop to connect with the net (and MO).

In 2008 I'm going to Desert Hot Springs to soak in mineral water pools and BBQ 'till my colon explodes. Also brewed up some 110 proof Whiskey, to keep me company.

And I will ride again, you can bet on it. If it's a side hack, a three wheeler or a Go Devil with training wheels, I will ride again.

So ride every one like is your last, and blow something up for me.

Ditto. We're getting ready to go watch the official stuff 'cause I didn't want to drop the $50+ for the fireworks we usually get. Sheese..

Have Fun Mr. Cuddy!

Fifty! Hell, I usually drop about $300 or so, and my Bro would buy another $150, and Dad would spend upwards of $500! Put all that together, and we'd put on a show that went on for about 3-4 hours! (Dad and I would usually manage to get some of the "pro" stuff - that's why it cost so much - this was Dad's fav holiday)

Once we started shootin' - all the people around Dad's place for MILES would quit and watch us..............

We did it one last time last year, in his memory. Now, I've sorta lost my "feel" for Independance Day without him around. I guess I should have said that I didn't really want to - rather than bein' "too broke".
