I didn't think it was necessary to put this in the Politics forum since it seemed like a rather non-controversial wish for a happy Independence Day for a great nation. I guess we'll have to put any Fourth of July greetings in Politics, too, so Ken can make it political with something about Indian genocide or something.

Arafat was offered a two state solution by that radical Republican Bill Clinton. All he had to do was acknowledge the legitimacy of Israel.

The fact that in the PLO zone schools the children are made to chant, "Death to Israel" would be a very good clue, for anyone who is able to follow a line of investigation.
BTW, the Muslim States; Syria, Jordan, etc., are the ones who have kept the pot boiling for their own purposes. Politics in the middle east are complex beyond belief. I doubt anyone at NPR has the intelligence to even begin to understand it. Thus you get mindless NPR listeners robotically repeating senseless bilge.
Some of the same people who are pushing the 2-state disaster are the same ones who said that Southeast Asia would be better off under communism in 1975. The EXACT same people. Their incompetence lead to the slaughters of 1/3 of the population of Cambodia and millions more in Laos and Vietnam.... and millions more refugees. Liberals are fools. Ignore them. The results of their foreign policies are inevitably death for millions. These are the clowns who stumbles us into WWI, WW2, Korea and Vietnam. They will destroy Israel too given half a chance. Heck, they tried to send US Troops into Haiti without weapons. They are extremely dangerous fools.
