I've done the York tour as well and it is really cool.



The engine plant isn't quite as thrilling because you can only watch CNC machines makes cams for so long.

Motorcycle ride report

I did a nice 300 mile round tripper with girl on back of Geezer Glide yesterday.

We went from the coast out to Joshua tree national park and back. 75 degrees in the desert with snow on the mountain peaks surrounding it. Awesome.

You're right. A 2004 DynaGlide is exactly like a 1936 Flathead. No difference!

Sounds like a fun ride, It was 35 and foggy this morning, good thing I rode or I would have had to scrape ice of the windshield.

It's supposed to cloud up to a balmy 40 and start raining so I can take the liner out of my coat again

Have you been out to Valley of Fire NE of Vegas? Now that is spectacular and you can visit the location where James T and Spock fought to the death. I drove my wife crazy with my impersonation of Jim Carreys impersonation of the theme music from cable guy...

All Geekyness aside it is incredible, 4000 year old indian petroglyphs, painted desert, rock formations and the east entrance is about 5 miles from a beach on lake mead. Killer scenery and skinny dipping in the same day, cant ask for better.

I'll have to give it a try sometime. I've always wanted to do "the loneliest road in America" which is either that highway in NV or KPail's driveway.

Not exactly but pretty damn close, putting out about 1/3 the horsepower of modern day litre sportbikes. Air cooled, bias tires...the list goes on and on. Yesterday's technology at tomorrow's prices.

I'd like to cruise around Nevada, I try to head over to Eastern Washington and follow the Columbia River gorge every year. It's mostly sage brush and tumbleweeds over there with this giant river cutting through.

Yes you get two spark plugs per cylinder with their design just like a Honda V-Twin as found in a Shadow 750.



You can ride in a HD powered aircraft, not me.

Hell, any Denny's parking lot on a summer weekend looks like a rolling Harley museum. Hard to tell if any of those bikes are 50 years old or brand new.
