Give 'till it hurts
Another thing fellow MoFOs before the next H-D flame war starts, many SoCal residents have lost everything recently. The devastation here is mind-boggling.

Well, except the fire in San Diego was started by a lost hunter who fired off a flare gun.
CDF kept helipcopters grounded because origianally, the fire wasn't threatening any structures, of course then the wind changed.
Plus, we've got a bunch of dead trees infected by the bark beetle that we weren't allowed to clear because the enviros claimed it was Gnatcatcher habitat.
I wonder where the gnatcatchers are living now?
So, combine doofus hunter, inept bureacracy, and enviro-extremists and you get 10% of San Diego county burned.
You probably won't read any of that in Al Franken's latest book.
Oh, and the economy grew at 7.2% last quarter!

I was lucky this time.
I survived the La Costa fires of '96.
Some of my friends had to evacuate but their homes were spared. The fire wasn't near my neighborhood this time.
We've had a few sprinkles the last few days. Hopefully we'll get some real rain soon.
