I think it is more about fit and finish than cost. If it doesn't fit, your not going to wear it. If your not wearing it than who cares what it costs. I highsided in my cheap HJC, it took a hell of a beating and I walked away. Spend the money if a high priced helmet gets you charged up to wear it. By a cheap on if your like me and on a limited budget. As long as it's DOT your good to go.
