Alright will do. I have a Harbor Freight near here. Yea the screws are horrible. What would you recommend for a replacement screw?
I happen to sell hardware, go to a local fastener specialty shop (NOT a hardware, auto parts or farm supply store) and what you likely need is a SHCS (socket head cap screw), or possbily a BHCS (button head cap screw) it will be metric (duh), and bring the origional screws with you, there are 3 different (2 more common) thread pitches available and having the right size screw with the wrong thread pitch is no better then trying to shove a drywall screw in there. A specialty shop should have a thread pitch gauge, if unavailable, put a nut (with known thread pitch) on the bolt to see how well it mates, therefore matching your pitch. Try to buy Camcar or Umbrako if available.
You will also have to see if they are fully or partially threaded, partial likely but make sure. All are likely M8 or M10 diamater, but the pitch & head are crutial for fit as well as the thread distance. Next issue is finish & coating, and they most commonly (aside of the motorcycle market) are black, some shops will have stainless steel, but you aren't likely to stumble across chrome heads unless you are wanting box quantities of each size. Good luck.
