Hi guys,

Being a newbie, I'm trying to figure out what things I should be looking for in a motorcycle. Anyone have any ideas? Also, any brands that you recommend?

Thanks a lot!

Buy the biggest, fastest, deadliest plastic-covered sportbike/biggest, heaviest cruiser you can obtain credit for. ('cuz them lil' 600cc Supersports an' 1500cc-and-less Cruisers you'll just outgrow in a couple of weeks)

Then, don't worry about gear or training before you pick it up - just hop on it and demonstrate your Manly Skilz by pinning the throttle (that twisty-thingie on the RIGHT handlebar) as far as it will go.

Jam it in gear (that funny clickie-pedal next to the LEFT footpeg: tap it DOWN), and dump the clutch (that silvery lever-thingie on the LEFT handle bar. your other Left....).

Hopefully, you're outside already, and pointed at traffic or a nice, solid cinder-block wall.

Do that, and you'll certainly leave an Impression that won't soon be forgotten.

Also, any brands that you recommend?

Thanks a lot!
Yeah: Nike makes expensive shoes, Levi's are among the priciest jeans, Toyota's Lexus division makes really spendy "Luxury Cars", and Lucas Electric makes vacuum-cleaners that don't Suck.............

You're Welcome.

It's a matter of perspective. I thought you were being helpful by pointing out exactly what NOT to do.

The Boss Hoss is your's! Out of respect I stepped back and waited...
True, it IS the only moto out there worthy of the title "Man's Bike".

I subscribe to the "Too Much is Not Enough" philosophy.

As opposed to the "Not Enough is Too Much" philosophy, or the "Too Enough is Not Much" philosophy.

I also subscribe to PVC-Pipe Monthly and Ladies Home Journal.

Did you catch the "15 Bongs and Hookas for Under $10!" article this month? Nicely done, with lots of photos and how-to's.
